Photography of Music: Loud Noise is No Voice

Boundedness is the one who suffers. Boundlessness rests in the calmness of serenity.
Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I admit, I started seeing the world out there, and photography turned my head around and not about, but within… and a voice was crying loud.
The concept is the starting point of the image in one’s head which, if given life to it, can be capable of miracles beyond the point of seeing and beyond the point of recognizing, ever hiding even in plain sight.
No media can upload or download, within or without the frame of “limited” reality, any kind of information sprouting from your head. The only instrument you have is the very you.
You can use your body, your mouth, your vocal chords, which are the actual chords of an orchestra, you can even use your imagination. Even if the latter sounds cliché, pay no heed to it!.. It means you need to start thinking for yourself and talk the walk as you walk the talk.
High Above is the place of origins of any of us and no one makes any exception to this rule. The Voice is talking Up There and reacheas Down Here which is the place of Now-here, although we nowadays call it Nowhere. Separate from The Above, but united in wickedness.
But a Voice can also make noise which is the crystallization of one’s own chatter in the head, in the mind, a meaningless blabber with no exact purpose but just talking for the waste of it.
Sometimes you may feel powerless after all that talk with no end and no result, no reward. But have you ever noticed that talking to much makes people around you deaf, unable to hear you, much less listen to you? You Voice fades away even though your crying loud.
More noise is loud noise and no voice at all. You can even lose composure as much as composition in the train of thought in your head, in your mind, and in the course of what makes your very life.
With the ages, we lose our voices because of too much waste, too much garbage in our daily elocution, turning into a ghost of what once was a Voice. Coming and going, birth, life and death are the very great events of our existence. And still, The Voice is beyond any of these repetitions ever to be anew all the time.
Such philosophy, of course, won’t save you nor your pennies. Are you looking for redemption or financial salvation? Are you chasing money or are you chasing dreams? What makes you: your labour or your vocation?
I cannot give you the recipe for happiness, for redemption, for a good life. All I can give you is this: something to see and stop talking about it, just contemplate it as I did. If you so much refuse this gift from me, it means you find it as an insult to you, as a waste of time, although there are no garbage cans for time. Or you can ignore me and go around and about fantasizing of your debts, punishments and whatnot..
The very images that I can see now with the use of the eye of the camera, is the very photograph that has a music to be heard and listened to. I repeat myself only to remind you from time to time what you may lose if you refuse me.
I am not important, so don’t judge me. But if you look hard enough and break free from your habits of diminishing, you can notice the illusion in which you lived: the dream and its fabric.
An illusion is not bad, nor good, but just a material for meditation. Its very fabric are the cells of your body, are the neurons’ connections of your brain, are the very dancing atoms in your heart. Will you travel beyond the apparent? Will you see what cannot be seen? Will you touch what cannot be palpated? Will you listen to what cannot be heard? Or will you taste and smell what cannot be licked nor sniffed?
Ansel Adams said that “a photograph is often looked at and seldom looked into” and this reminds me of our ignorance, of our willingness to ovelook things.. When will we become attentives?
The Voice’s fabric is of the luminous streaks of fire bursting here and there in order to keep the matrix intact. It is not attention that makes it strong, solid, condensed or visible, tangible, palpable, but the concept. We all see the concept and not the what really is.
Also, The Voice should be light in the dark, not dark fume in a world of lights. Don’t fill the world with your shadows, instead pause as much as possible for your light to shine brighter! The world is already full of light.
