The cogwheels of day-to-day life

It is paramount for us to understand that tools less used tend to harden over time, even tools never used and when we begin to use them they seem hardened and difficult to set in motion.
Everything has a beginning, some people say, and everything has an end, but this kind of conditioning, for it’s no more than that, is time dependent. It is like we are saying that we are human beings that need to reach spiritual levels, like we are conquering some sort of a trophy somewhere, sometime. Nevertheless, time does exist as moments in eternity. Let’s try to look at the Milky Way Galaxy from a cosmic distance. Does it look like a dot, or an atom? Maybe. :)
I picture the tools we use in our day to day life, and I am not referring to screwdrivers, hammers, scisors or knifes, I mean our inner “cogwheels”, our instruments that we consciously have, are simply latent and very weak, for a muscle never used or less used atrophies. Many times we are not aware of the power we have within ourselves for we were led to believe a lie much like the one with the human beings having a spiritual experience. We were told in the false education that we are weak and that the world is hostile and we need to struggle, fight, survive the everyday ongoing race to become the fittest. But what for? For a great career in some corporate entity? For a trophy wife that is both beautiful and smart so we can have someone to brag about and tell everyone else around us? Or for a ton of diplomas from the colleges we attended? Is like in each life we start anew. :|
I do not believe that we have a relative beginning and an end. But what I do believe is in our abilities, in our inner strengths. Our conscious powers lie dormant within each and everyone of us. These can be activated. But how?
The real question is indeed “how?” . How can we activate our conscious capacities if they lie dormant, inactive? How can we trigger them to wake up? Thank God for the laws of the Universe! :D They can help.
Each experience that we have is governed by a universal law, or by a series of universal laws. These laws can trigger them to become active again and for us to recap our paths.
Say you have an encounter with some of your friends. You meet them at dinner, or in a restaurant having a cup of tea, and you share experiences, impressions, you interract and suddenly one of them asks you a certain question that requires you to answer wisely. What if you think you don’t have that wisdom? What if you never used your intelligent resources of your mind to answer your friends? What if it’s the first time, so you think, when you are in such a situation where you need to answer a phillosophical question you don’t really have the answer for? Do you think you know it all or do you use your intuition, perhaps your imagination and so on, in order to give your friend the answer he or she needs, but not the answer you want?
They seem hard to set in motion but once they are moving they will work just fine, normally, without any difficulty whatsoever. It is just like riding a bicycle. You don’t really know how you do it, but you do it. You can’t even explain it intellectually, or you could say that it’s just a habit, a wont, a skill. We all have it. And once we have set them in motion, once they are working, we will attune to the perpetual movement of everything in the Universe. So let’s use them here and now. :)
