Photography of Music: Sliding in Change, Sliding out of Forgetfulness

Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting.
Ralph Waldo Emerson.
People have forgotten the old ways, you know. They’ve forgotten where they came from. The past is not what it seems, for its entire history, that is to say, its story has been changed, modified or some of its aspects hidden. But why? What do men and women fear? We all fear change as if it’s stronger and more painful than death.
We have forgotten that we lack judgement since two thousand years ago when we decided to idiotize ourselves and dumb down our senses, wits and discernment. We went into a downward spiral of degeneration and we even forgot that we have breath, heartbeat, neural vibration, therefore life into this body of ours. We resist change not because we don’t want it, but because we think our ways are the best. Our ways are the ways of forgetfulness.
There is a healing process that takes place when we forgive and forget and make peace with ourselves and with God, but there is another way in which we neutralize ourselves into oblivion. We want to forget everything about how we got here, not by chance but by choice.
We forgot that the old ways, that the old science and knowledge was never apart from the ways of prayers. Nowadays, scientists study and discover the effects prayers have even on a molecular level. But we forget that it is of common sense to ask for help, for we are not alone and always together, even if we utter the request to forces we don’t see and feel anymore. But there are other ways, other senses and other capabilities to acquire knowledge, information: through the gates of the psyche. But do you pray for your loved one?
Let’s get out of our mind expectations and into all our senses, both from within and from without! Don’t forget: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell gives you nothing from the real world only light striking phenomena.
We forgot that we are not separate also. What do you think makes people consider one another foreigners? What do you think makes them treat one another as if they are strangers? “Oh, I don’t know you!” They say. But do they? Have you seen how friendly people treat one another from the very first words they address each other, from the very first conversation? Do they know each other, provided they never met before?
We also forgot that we are not evil by nature, only inclined to forgetfulness, to self-oblivion, so to say. People don’t act anymore, unless in small amounts and chances. People now, mostly, react to everything. It has become a world of reaction.
There’s a new sphere that has been fully developed, besides the atmosphere, lithosphere, biosphere and so on, and I call it phantasmosphere. We live in our own sphere of make believe, of illusions, of phantasms and fantasies that has nothing to do with reality. We live in a bubble, each with one’s own!
More often than not people now feel the need to slide in change and out of this forgetfulness of theirs. The reason is.. the calling they can no longer bear!
Victor Hugo used to say that “nothing can stand in the way of an idea whose time has come”. I can paraphrase this by saying that nothing can stand in the way of the longing for change whose time has really come.
Don’t be afraid of what the day may bring you! But don’t forget that you’re in a journey and some things are to be delayed for later on, and other things are to come now or sooner! Also, relax and enjoy the ride! They’re all part of the Master Plan.
Be the vehicle for change and you will know the Universe intimately! ;)
Last, but not least, people have forgotten to love. Instead, they nowadays judge and calculate earnings by the end of the second, minute, hour, day, by the end of the cycle…
