Photography of Music: Encore for Life

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
George Bernard Shaw.
I was told, one day, that the saddest thing is not that people are dying, but that people don’t live at all. I was also told that we go through life dreaming, therefore fantesizing unconsciously and missing out on all the things that are there whispering to us mysteries of some kind or another. I was asked, as well, how do I do my photography, how do I see such things. I say unto those that addressed me such questions that there is a music that is played out there and through me that I try to comply to it and co-create. I see because I care.
I think that life is about caring about life, is about being interested in living and all else should follow if we actually do it, if we actually live, meaning if we actually convive, therefore live together, with one another and with life itself. This is music and its manifestation is dancing.
I said it many times, that life keeps on going and it offers us all the opportunities we need to not only thrive but to become superior in every way. How do we create ourselves? Well, this is up to us, right? I think it all starts with imagination. This is also the case and there is no fixed formula, it is all up to us.
I have thought about death, recently. I know, it is not a happy subject, but it is important, nonetheless. I have seen how and why people die, especially loved ones from my family, and this really struck me that the main reason is not because the so-called inevitable death is a natural process through which we all have to pass not knowing anything about it and letting it be just as is, but because we unconsciously call for it, we unconsciously make it happen. And this, really, is something to think about.
I said this is not a happy subject to talk about because it reminds us of the truth, that we are going through life in an unconscious way. You see, going in Nature made me realise that the outside Nature is very much like my inner Nature. Yeah, you can say automatically that we are all part of Nature, but understanding this is different. Whatever I see happening in Nature, I see happening in me also. I recognize myself in Nature and I discover truths that I need to understand.
The reason why people die is because they don’t know how to live. We all say that we try to live, as we try to do things in our work, our profession, in our family, in our hobbies and so on. But why do we try? Don’t we know what to do and how to do it? It’s not that hard, actually, once you get a grip on yourself.
I praise this as an encore for life, because life is a continuous reprise, to musically put it. The reach of it is beyond all measures as we cannot put labels on what life is made of.
I think death is also unmeasurable and by trying to measure it doesn’t mean that we get a grip on it, but it means that we try to hold on to it, as we hold on to life.
In music, reprise means a repetition of a performance, of a musical composition, and in photography this would be similar, apparently, to making a cliché, although this is not about copying anyone or anything. Reprise in photography means the going and coming back of things under the governance of light, of course.
In the woods, when and after it rains, light performs its affirmations on the wet surfaces. So hard do they glitter, that they give special qualities to the trees and their leaves. Glistens and shines of light disposed on the edges of trees, branches and whatnot, contours what comes and grows from the degeneration of leaves in autumn from which all the best elements have drawn back to the core. And thus, life recreates itself under the governance of light, of course.
I think light is the trigger. I also said, one time, that light is within us, latent under the cover of the materiality of atoms, molecules, cells and so on. What comes from them is fire and light. These two are like garments of what is conscience, a mystery which scientists today are trying extremely hard to unravel. Most of them still use the wrong instruments of investigation, but some of them figured this out and are now using others instruments. They’ve gone on a journey back into themselves.
After that, in winter, Nature tells us that all become the stars of the spectacle of Cosmos. What comes after that? An encore of life and for life. It’s so wonderful to see it! :D
